How to Buy your Tuxedo MasterCard^® Prepaid Card and eccount

There are four easy ways to pay for your Tuxedo MasterCard^® or Maestro^® Prepaid Card and eccount: -

1. By credit/debit card online.

2. By Postal Order if registering by mail.

3. By text message.
Follow the instructions below to obtain your purchase code via text message to complete your activation.

MasterCard Prepaid Card

1. Text the word TUX to 80777.
2. You’ll receive two messages; the first will contain your 10-digit purchase code. (your mobile will be charged £10 in two text message instalments of £5 each. Please check with your service provider for any additional text charges that may apply. You must have permission from the bill payer before using this service)
3. Enter this purchase code on the payment page, when you activate online and press GO. If you activate by mail, write down your purchase code in the space provided on the form.

Maestro Prepaid Card

1. Text the word TUX5 to 80777.
2. You’ll receive one message containing your 10-digit purchase code. (your mobile will be charged £5 in one text message. Please check with your service provider for any additional text charges that may apply. You must have permission from the bill payer before using this service)
3. Enter this purchase code on the payment page when you activate online and press GO. If you activate by mail, write down your purchase code number in the space provided on the form.

4. By Tuxedo Voucher – available at PayPoint^® locations.

You can pay for your Tuxedo Card using a Tuxedo Voucher (found on the reverse of your info letter) at any PayPoint location in the UK. They will scan the voucher and ask you to pay £10 for your Tuxedo Card. You will be given a receipt with the voucher number on it. Follow the usual purchase process online and enter the voucher number at the payment stage, you will not be charged again. Your Tuxedo Card will be sent to you.

If activating by mail, write down your Tuxedo voucher number in the space provided on the activation form.

 

If activating by mail rather than online after you have recieved your voucher number then write down your Tuxedo Voucher number in the space provided on the activation form.

Now you can also purchase your Tuxedo Card in a retail location near you, just look for the PayPoint sign.

Required details

Before activating your TuxedoCard and eccount , please make sure that you have the following details available:-

(Call Customer Care for other acceptable forms of identity if you do not have any of these).

Either:

• TWO of the following FOUR registered in your name:

  • Home telephone number.
  • Driving Licence number.
  • Electricity supply number.
  • Registration on the Electoral Roll.

Or:

• Send a scanned black and white copy or photocopy of the photo page of your passport.
• Name, address and date of birth details of additional Tuxedo cardholders if applicable.
